Return Policy
You are eligible for a return if you can prove that an incorrect product, medicine, or item different from your original order was delivered. If you want to return a product due to a prescription change advised by your doctor, the product must be unused and in its original packaging. To request a return, please call our helpline or file a complaint through our website or hotline.
Customers must provide proof that Biomed Online Pharmacy delivered the wrong item, which is required for audit purposes.

Important Return Conditions:
Customers are requested to open the package in front of the delivery rider.
Any issues must be reported immediately.
Post-delivery complaints regarding item accuracy, quantity, or expiration will not be accepted.
If a third party receives the delivery, they must check the items properly.
Customers should sign the delivery invoice; otherwise, return claims may not be accepted.
Return requests must be made within 6 hours of receiving the item.
Our team will arrange pickup within 24 to 72 hours.
For prescription changes, a valid updated prescription must be provided within 30 days of receiving the item.

Return Charges:
If the return is due to Biomed’s error, there is no return or delivery charge.
If the customer wants a replacement along with the return, new delivery charges apply.
If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., wrong order, invalid prescription), the customer must bear delivery charges and a 7.5% service charge will be deducted from the refund.
After receiving the returned item, our team will verify its resalable condition.

Exchange Process
Customers must provide the following information:

Invoice of returned item

গ্রাহকের পক্ষ থেকে কোনো ভুলের কারণে (যেমন ভুল অর্ডার, অবৈধ প্রেসক্রিপশন, অতিরিক্ত ওষুধ ফেরত দিতে চাইলে) গ্রাহককে রিটার্ন আইটেমের ডেলিভারি খরচ বহন করতে হবে এবং 7.5% সেবাশুল্ক কর্তন করা হবে রিফান্ডের পরিমাণ থেকে।
রিটার্ন আইটেমটি অফিসে ফেরত পাওয়ার পর, Biomed Online Pharmacy Team আইটেমটি পরীক্ষা করবে এবং এটি পুনরায় বিক্রয়ের উপযোগী কিনা তা নিশ্চিত করবে।

Pharmacology

Magnesium is one of the most common minerals on earth and is present in many foods. Magnesium oxide is a mineral supplement used to treat or prevent low levels of magnesium in the blood. It’s essential for human health and is used over 600 cellular reactions throughout the body. In fact, every cell and organ need this mineral to function properly. It contributes to bone health, as well as proper brain, heart and muscle function.

Magnesium prevents or controls convulsions by blocking neuromuscular transmission and decreasing the amount of acetylcholine liberated at the end plate by the motor nerve impulse. Magnesium is said to have a depressant effect on the central nervous system (CNS), but it does not adversely affect the woman, fetus or neonate when used as directed in eclampsia or pre-eclampsia.

Approximately 24-76% of ingested magnesium is absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, primarily via passive par cellular absorption in the small intestine. 20% of the magnesium found in human serum is protein bound. Approximately 60-70% of this fraction is bound to albumin while the remainder is bound to globulin proteins. Magnesium has the ability to bind to 3751 human proteins. Magnesium does not appear to be metabolized. The majority of magnesium is excreted renally.

Dosage & Administration

Recommended daily dose for patient over 12 years of age is 1-2 tablet. If a dose of Magnesium Oxide is missed take it as soon as remember, unless it’s almost time for the next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue on regular medication schedule. Do not double up on doses to make up for a missed dose.

Kidney failure: Do not take this medication in the patient with severe kidney failure.
Liver failure: There is no data about usage in the patients with liver failure.

Interaction

Other drugs may affect the treatment with this medicine. Before taking Magnox, talk to doctor if taking-

Muscle relaxant drugs (non-depolarize neuromuscular blockers)
Some antibiotic (amino quinolones, nitrofurantoin, penisilamine, tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones)
Digoxin (heart failure treatment)
Lithium (change of emotion and control of depression state)
Sodium polystyrene sulfonate (provides elimination of potassium)
Cellulose sodium phosphate (used to prevent kidney stones)
Other medicines containing magnesium (including magnesium enemas)
Barbiturate (drugs used for the treatment of sleeplessness), opioids (substances acting as morphine), hypnotics (somnific drugs)
Nifedipine (drugs used in hypertension or heart problems)
The absorption of levothyroxine containing drugs which are used in the treatment of thyroid diseases, is impaired when used concomitantly, therefore at least 4 hours interval is required between the uses of these two drugs.

Contraindications

Do not take this drug without first talking to your doctor if you have kidney disease.
Before taking this drug, tell your doctor if you have any other medical conditions, allergies, or if you take other medicines or other herbal/health supplements. This drug may not be recommended in some situations.

Side Effects

Common side effects include: Diarrhea, Cramping.

Serious side effects include: Itching, Rash or hives, Mood or mental changes, Lightheadedness or dizziness, Weakness, Unusual fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting. Consult with doctor immediately if any of this occurs.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Do not use it without consulting with doctor during pregnancy. Do not use it without consulting doctor during breastfeeding.

Precautions & Warnings

Do not take more magnesium than doctor or the product label recom mends. Too much magnesium in the blood can cause serious side effects.
Before taking Magnox, consult with doctor whether allergic to it, antacids, laxatives, or any other drugs.
Should not use this supplement as antacid for longer than two weeks, or as a laxative for longer than one week, unless doctor tells to do so.
