Return Policy
You are eligible for a return if you can prove that an incorrect product, medicine, or item different from your original order was delivered. If you want to return a product due to a prescription change advised by your doctor, the product must be unused and in its original packaging. To request a return, please call our helpline or file a complaint through our website or hotline.
Customers must provide proof that Biomed Online Pharmacy delivered the wrong item, which is required for audit purposes.

Important Return Conditions:
Customers are requested to open the package in front of the delivery rider.
Any issues must be reported immediately.
Post-delivery complaints regarding item accuracy, quantity, or expiration will not be accepted.
If a third party receives the delivery, they must check the items properly.
Customers should sign the delivery invoice; otherwise, return claims may not be accepted.
Return requests must be made within 6 hours of receiving the item.
Our team will arrange pickup within 24 to 72 hours.
For prescription changes, a valid updated prescription must be provided within 30 days of receiving the item.

Return Charges:
If the return is due to Biomed’s error, there is no return or delivery charge.
If the customer wants a replacement along with the return, new delivery charges apply.
If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., wrong order, invalid prescription), the customer must bear delivery charges and a 7.5% service charge will be deducted from the refund.
After receiving the returned item, our team will verify its resalable condition.
If the item is not eligible for return, no refund will be issued.

Items marked as “non-returnable”
Vaccines, insulin, or temperature-sensitive products

Exchange Process
Customers must provide the following information:
Name and quantity of returned medicine
Invoice of returned item
Previous and updated doctor prescriptions
The call center agent will process the request and notify the customer once approved.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed in the following situations:
If a customer places and pays for a wrong order
If Biomed fails to supply the ordered item
For courier charges, the higher of ৳140 will be deducted
Refunds will be processed within 1 to 7 working days
In case of technical issues, the customer will be informed accordingly

Biomed Online Pharmacy Team ভুলের কারণে রিটার্নের সঙ্গে গ্রাহক নতুন কোন অর্ডার করতে চাইলে, সেই অর্ডারের ডেলিভারি খরচও লাগবে ।
গ্রাহকের পক্ষ থেকে কোনো ভুলের কারণে (যেমন ভুল অর্ডার, অবৈধ প্রেসক্রিপশন, অতিরিক্ত ওষুধ ফেরত দিতে চাইলে) গ্রাহককে রিটার্ন আইটেমের ডেলিভারি খরচ বহন করতে হবে এবং 7.5% সেবাশুল্ক কর্তন করা হবে রিফান্ডের পরিমাণ থেকে।
রিটার্ন আইটেমটি অফিসে ফেরত পাওয়ার পর, Biomed Online Pharmacy Team আইটেমটি পরীক্ষা করবে এবং এটি পুনরায় বিক্রয়ের উপযোগী কিনা তা নিশ্চিত করবে।

Indications

Clonipres is indicated in the treatment of hypertension. It may be employed alone or concomitantly with other anti-hypertensive agent. Clonipres is also indicated for the treatment of menopausal flushing, opioid withdrawal & alcohol withdrawal syndrome. Clonipres extended release tablet is indicated for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as monotherapy.

Pharmacology

Clonidine Hydrochloride stimulates alpha adrenoceptors in the brain stem. With immediate-release clonidine, blood pressure declines within 30 to 60 minutes after an oral dose, the maximum decrease occurring within 2 to 4 hours. Renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate remain essentially unchanged. Normal postural reflexes are intact; therefore, orthostatic symptoms are mild and infrequent.

Dosage & Administration

Adult: The dose of Clonidine must be adjusted according to the patient’s individual blood pressure response.

Initial dose: 0.1 mg twice a day (morning & bed time). Elderly patients may be benefited from a lower initial dose.

Maintenance dose: Further increments of 0.1 mg per day may be made at weekly intervals if necessary, until the desired result is achieved. The therapeutic dose most commonly employed have ranged from 0.2 mg to 0.6 mg per day given in divided doses. In renal impairment, dose of Clonidine Hydrochloride must be adjusted according to the degree of impairment & patient should be monitored carefully.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: Clonidine IR 5 mcg/kg/day or Clonidine ER 0.1 mg/day for 8 weeks

Menopausal flushing: 0.1 mg to 0.4 mg daily

Alcohol withdrawal: 0.3 to 0.6 mg every 6 hourly or as directed by the physician.

Use in Children & Adolescents: Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established in adequate and well-controlled trials.

Interaction

Clonipres may potentiate CNS depressive effect of alcohol, barbiturates or other sedative drugs. Hypotensive effect may be reduced if a patient receives Clonipres and tricyclic anti-depressant; where increased dose of Clonipres is required. Due to a potential for additive effects (such as bradycardia & A.V. block) caution is warranted in patients receiving Clonipres concomitantly with agents (e.g. digitalis, calcium channel blockers & β-blockers) known to affect sinus node function or A.V. nodal conduction.

Contraindications

Clonidine is contraindicated to patients with known history of hypersensitivity to Clonidine.

Side Effects

Most side effects of Clonipres are mild and tend to diminish with continued therapy. The most frequent side effects (which appears to be dose related) are dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness, constipation and sedation, ear pain, irritability, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain & nausea.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category C. So, Clonidine should be avoided during pregnency. As Clonidine is excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Clonidine is administered to nursing mother.

Precautions & Warnings

Instruct patients not to discontinue therapy without consulting their physician. Sudden cessation of clonidine treatment has resulted in symptoms such as nervousness, agitation, headache, and tremor accompanied or followed by a rapid rise in blood pressure and elevated catecholamine concentrations in the plasma. When discontinuing therapy with Clonipres ER Tablet, reduce the dose gradually over 2 to 4 days to avoid withdrawal symptoms. If therapy is to be discontinued in patients receiving a beta-blocker and clonidine concurrently, the beta-blocker should be withdrawn several days before the gradual discontinuation of Clonipres ER Tablet.
