Return Policy
You are eligible for a return if you can prove that an incorrect product, medicine, or item different from your original order was delivered. If you want to return a product due to a prescription change advised by your doctor, the product must be unused and in its original packaging. To request a return, please call our helpline or file a complaint through our website or hotline.
Customers must provide proof that Biomed Online Pharmacy delivered the wrong item, which is required for audit purposes.

Important Return Conditions:
Customers are requested to open the package in front of the delivery rider.
Any issues must be reported immediately.
Post-delivery complaints regarding item accuracy, quantity, or expiration will not be accepted.
If a third party receives the delivery, they must check the items properly.
Customers should sign the delivery invoice; otherwise, return claims may not be accepted.
Return requests must be made within 6 hours of receiving the item.
Our team will arrange pickup within 24 to 72 hours.
For prescription changes, a valid updated prescription must be provided within 30 days of receiving the item.

Return Charges:
If the return is due to Biomed’s error, there is no return or delivery charge.
If the customer wants a replacement along with the return, new delivery charges apply.
If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., wrong order, invalid prescription), the customer must bear delivery charges and a 7.5% service charge will be deducted from the refund.
After receiving the returned item, our team will verify its resalable condition.
If the item is not eligible for return, no refund will be issued.

Opened, used, or damaged items
Broken seals or damaged packaging
Items marked as “non-returnable”
Vaccines, insulin, or temperature-sensitive products

Exchange Process
Customers must provide the following information:
Name and quantity of returned medicine
Invoice of returned item
Previous and updated doctor prescriptions
The call center agent will process the request and notify the customer once approved.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed in the following situations:
If a customer places and pays for a wrong order
If Biomed fails to supply the ordered item
For courier charges, the higher of ৳140 will be deducted
Refunds will be processed within 1 to 7 working days
In case of technical issues, the customer will be informed accordingly
Refunds will be made via the same payment method used

গ্রাহকের পক্ষ থেকে কোনো ভুলের কারণে (যেমন ভুল অর্ডার, অবৈধ প্রেসক্রিপশন, অতিরিক্ত ওষুধ ফেরত দিতে চাইলে) গ্রাহককে রিটার্ন আইটেমের ডেলিভারি খরচ বহন করতে হবে এবং 7.5% সেবাশুল্ক কর্তন করা হবে রিফান্ডের পরিমাণ থেকে।
রিটার্ন আইটেমটি অফিসে ফেরত পাওয়ার পর, Biomed Online Pharmacy Team আইটেমটি পরীক্ষা করবে এবং এটি পুনরায় বিক্রয়ের উপযোগী কিনা তা নিশ্চিত করবে।

Indications

Retabac is indicated for use in adults and pediatric patients aged 9 months and older for the topical treatment of impetigo (up to 100 cm 2 in total area in adults or 2% total body surface area in pediatric patients aged 9 months or older) due to Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-susceptible isolates only) or Streptococcus pyogenes. Safety in patients younger than 9 months has not been established. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of Retabac and other antibacterial drugs, Retabac should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria.

Pharmacology

Retapamulin selectively inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by interacting at a site on the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome through an interaction that is different from that of other antibiotics. This binding site involves ribosomal protein L3 and is in the region of the ribosomal P-site and peptidyl transferase center. By virtue of binding to this site, pleuromutilins inhibit peptidyl transfer, block P-site interactions, and prevent the normal formation of active 50S ribosomal subunits. Retapamulin is bacteriostatic against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes at the Retapamulin in vitro minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) for these organisms.

Dosage & Administration

A thin layer of Topibac should be applied to the affected area (up to 100 cm² in total area in adults or 2% total body surface area in pediatric patients aged 9 months or older) twice daily for 5 days. The treated area may be covered with a sterile bandage or gauze dressing if desired.

Interaction

The effect of concurrent application of Retabac and other topical products to the same area of skin has not been studied.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity of any ingredient of this preparation.

Side Effects

Adverse effects: Application site irritation (<2% of patients may experience).

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category B. It is not known whether Retapamulin is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Retapamulin is administered to a nursing woman.

Precautions & Warnings

Local Irritation: In the event of sensitization or severe local irritation from Retabac, usage should be discontinued. Not for Systemic or Mucosal Use: Retabac is not intended for ingestion or for oral, intranasal, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use.
