Joshina contains glycyrrhiza glabra (Jashtimodhu), Cordia dichotama (Sapistan), Malva sylvestris (Khobbazi), Althaea officinalis (Khatmi), Viola odorata (Gulebanafsha), Borago officinalis (Gaozaban) and Zizyphus vulgaris (Unnab) which have been recognized as the most efficacious herbal cure for cold, bronchitis and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
