Pepnor is a natural carminative syrup. It is a Jeerakaddarishta preparation as per BNAF. Several herbs used in this preparation are time tested and proven to be clinically effective. Comp: Each 5ml syrup contains extracts of Cuminum cyminum 2.64gm, Cinnamomum zeylanicum 13.24mg, Elettaria cardamomum 13.24mg, Cinnamomum tamala 13.24mg, Mesua ferrea 13.24mg, Zingiber officinale 26.48mg, Myristica ffagrans 13.24mg, Cyperus rotundus 13.24mg, Trachyspermum ammi 13.24mg, Syzygium aromaticum 13.24mg with some other ingredients as per BNAF.

Ind: Pepnor is indicated in dyspepsia or indigestion, abdominal colic, nausea and anorexia. It is also effective in diarrhea, false labor pain due to gas, g.i problem after delivery and provide nutritional supplement to the lactating mothers. It also helps to treat reactive arthritis due to diarrhea or dysentery.
C/I: There is no known contraindication, but it may happen in patients who are hypersensitive to
any of its ingredients. Ginger is contraindicated in people suffering from gallstones as it promotes the production of bile.
S/E: There is no known significant side effect.
Use in pregnancy: No adverse effect of pepnor syrup has been reported.
Dosage & admin: Children under 12years: 1-2 tsf (5-10ml) two to three times daily.
Adults: 2-3 tsf (10-15ml) three times daily.
Drug inter: Anticoagulant drugs like warfarin, aspirin.
