Nikethamide 25% injection in 2ml amp: injection
Ind: Acute respiratory failure
C/I: Respiratory failure due to neurological
disease or drug overdose.
S/E: Vomiting, restlessness, convulsions.
Dose: 2 to 10ml by slow i.v injection of the usual 25% solution every 20 to 30 mins, if necessary.
